EURO'S B 2010 1/8 Buggy  Valladolid SPAIN

On this page we will try to keep you informed about the European Championships "B" 1/8 Buggy held in Valladolid SPAIN

Friday Practice

Today practice will be hard due to a lot of rain falling over the night and when arriving at the track we still have rain and temperatures around 12°C brrr. Check out the pictures taken this moring.

Well it is now 20:00 and just back from the track and I do not want to bother you with the unfortunate weather conditions we have had today, I think the pictures tell enough and I would like to give my appreciation to the organisation doing the best they can. The Club of Valladolid has a great track and structure and I hope the sun will come out soon to make the racing more interesting for everybody.

Some good news for TecnoPower today since our young Portugese driver João Gomes has been doing quite well with the TecnoPower B01 since after this day he is sitting on the 7th spot which is good for the re-seeding of the qualifiers for tomorrow. So let us wait and see for tomorrow and enjoy the images which follow.

Saturday Qualifying

Qualifying went underway at first under wet conditions and after slowly the track started to dry out and things became more interesting to see. For us on the level of the TecnoPower engines no major problems except to be able to exploit the engine in the best possible way which was quite difficult due to the changing track conditions.
João Gomes our fastest drivers started out with the Tecnopower B01 in combination with the Hipex 2069 wich gave good overall results, after 2 runs we decided to change the engine an try a different solution with the B01 in combination with the Hipex 2034 which provides a better power with still a good overall fuelconsumption.
Even if we are not competely satisfied with the overall results we are happy anyway to be there and live the whole race and its surroundings.

Enjoy the following photo's:

Another competitior using our TecnoPower engines...:-)

Finally the sun is coming out, this will make things more interesting.

Sunday Finals

All the finals have been run in dry and at the end finally very sunny conditions with more or less succes for TecnoPower. In overall the performances were good but there is still room for improvement and we are working hard to make the progress noticeable for the coming Euro's A.
João Gomes has been unfortunate during his quarter final, despite very good laptimes you need also to finish the race without any incidents.

The start of one of the finals!

Well after this first deception we also have run into some good news while Antonio LANDA from Spain with his Losi/TECNOPOWER B01/Merlin Fuel combination has managed to win the European Championships 40+ class!
So with this TECNOPOWER has managed to win its first European Title within its very short existance, so things can only get "Just Better"

EUROPEAN Champion 2010
40+
