TecnoPower glowplugs have been designed and are manufactured with care and devotion! The glowplug is a very important part of the engine and its quality should not be underestimated. TecnoPower is using only the highest quality materials for their glowplugs for the engine to reach optimum performances.
After a long research and extensive testing, TecnoPower has chosen to use Stainless Steel for the body and pin of our glowplugs, this material is very resistant against external déterioriation. The composition of the TecnoPower glowplug wire has been carefully choses to be durable while still providing the optimum performances to your engine.

We have designed 2 type of glowplugs, the "C" type also called the COLD glowplug and the "H" type also called the HOT glowplug.

The TecnoPower "C" type Glowplugs
The construction of this glowplug has been designed in a way that the internal heat-transfer is slower then the average glowplug and so the point of ignition becomes later then usual, this is suitable for engines which work in the higher rpm area like most of the on-road or circuit engines are doing. 

The TecnoPower "H" type Glowplugs
The construction of this glowplug has been designed in a way that the internal heat-transfer is faster then the average glowplug and so the point of ignition becomes earlier then usual, this is suitable for engines which work in the lower rpm area like most of the off-road or buggy engines are doing. 

For both of the C and H type of glowplugs we use the same type of wire where the N° of the glowplug is related to the thickness of the wire. The higher the N° the thicker the wire , the thickness of the wire also influences your point of ignition but you can find more information about this in our FAQ section of our website.
