First thoughts: the engine looks PRETTY out of the box! I took a closer look to the engine and really liked the detail and overall quality of the product. I can say that perfectionism would be the word that better describes the B01 Engine.

I assembled the HIPEX pipe and manifold and also my own clutch to the engine and fired it up right away. During the first few laps, the first feeling I got from the engine was that the power delivery was really smooth and easy to drive and that is very good for 1/8th off-road. The engine proved it is super easy to tune and to get a consistent idle, it is super reliable since I made only really small changes to the tune during the entire test (because of the outside temperature changing, etc).

The lap times with the new B01 engine were basically the same that my previous engine which is really good since I had my previous engine perfectly and 100% tuned to my driving style, and this was the first time I was driving the Tecnopower so I think it shows all the potential of the engine

Runtimes were also very good for the first testing and I think that with some more practice with the engine to get used to the way it revs, more testing with fuels and clutches I think I can easily reach the 9 min. mark on European style tracks which is very good.

This weekend I will be racing at the Euros-B warm-up in Valladolid (Spain) and it will be good for some more testing with the B01, so everyone feel free to come to my pit area and check it out!

Overall, my feelings about the engines were… I LIKE !!!!!!!!! :-)

Enjoy the video and stay tuned for more testing and race reports about the Tecnopower B01…
